Yanovo User Service Agreement
Last updated: 2 November 2026
1. Introduction and scope
1.1 Yanovo is provided and operated by ACC工作室 (ACC Studio, “we” or “us”). This Agreement sets out your rights and obligations and ours when you use Yanovo. Contact: contact@yanovoim.top.
1.2 Yanovo is an instant messaging platform supporting text messages, photo and file sharing, one-to-one and group chats, voice and video calls, and message translation. The Service includes Yanovo client applications and the official website, yanovoim.top. Feature availability depends on your version, device and service status.
1.3 Read this Agreement before registering or using the Service, particularly the provisions on account deletion, user content, privacy and liability. You must have the legal capacity required for the relevant activity and obtain a guardian’s consent where required.
1.4 Users under 18 should read and use the Service with a guardian’s guidance. Personal information of children under 14 is addressed in Section 7 of the Privacy Policy and applicable law. Reading this Agreement does not replace any consent required for processing personal information.
2. Users and registration
2.1 You may create and use a personal account using the registration or sign-in methods available in the client. Provide accurate account information, including a phone number or email address you lawfully use, and keep it current. Available methods and verification requirements are shown in the relevant screens.
2.2 Account names, nicknames, profile pictures and profiles must not impersonate others, infringe rights or contain unlawful information. Do not register accounts in bad faith or in bulk, sell accounts, commit fraud or harass others.
3. Account use, security and deletion
3.1 Your account is for your own use. Keep passwords, verification codes and sign-in credentials secure. Do not rent, lend or transfer your account without authorization. If you discover unauthorized access, use the client’s security functions or contact us. We will assist following reasonable verification.
3.2 For unauthorized access, malicious activity, unlawful content, infringement or other threats to users or service security, we may take proportionate measures such as warnings, feature restrictions, suspension or account termination. We will explain the reason appropriately unless notification is prohibited or immediate action is necessary. You may appeal through our contact email.
3.3 On the mobile client, go to “Me — Account Security — Delete Account” and follow the instructions. Account deletion is different from signing out. A successful request disables the account and clears the password and certain profile fields, so the account can no longer sign in. Save any content you need before proceeding.
3.4 Account deletion does not mean that all historical messages, uploaded files, recipients’ copies and backups have immediately been physically erased. Contact us to request deletion or anonymization of remaining personal data. We will verify and handle the request as required by law and explain its scope and outcome. Data legally required to be retained, or temporarily not removable from backups, will be restricted to necessary storage and protection. See Sections 4 and 5 of the Privacy Policy.
4. Service license and changes
4.1 Subject to this Agreement, we grant you a non-exclusive, limited, non-transferable license to access the client and Yanovo Content for ordinary use of the Service. “Yanovo Content” is defined in Section 8.1. This license does not transfer intellectual property rights.
4.2 We may change the Service for security, maintenance, upgrades, legal requirements or operational reasons. Where practicable, we will give advance notice of material changes affecting normal use and explain urgent security changes afterwards when appropriate. Paid entitlements are handled under their specific terms and applicable law.
5. Acceptable use and content
5.1 Do not upload, send or distribute viruses, malicious code or other material harmful to networks or devices. Do not intrude into systems, steal data, bypass safeguards, attack the Service or interfere with its operation using unauthorized tools.
5.2 Do not engage in fraud, gambling, unlawful sexual content distribution, threats, harassment, spam, malicious bulk friend requests, impersonation or infringement of privacy, reputation, image or intellectual property rights. Do not distribute content prohibited by applicable law, including content threatening national security, inciting hatred or harming minors.
5.3 Send content only to people entitled to receive it, and respect the wishes of other users and group members. We will review reported content or content requiring legal action to the necessary extent and take proportionate measures. Send reports, complaints and appeals to our contact email.
6. User content and message storage
6.1 You retain your lawful rights in content you send, upload or share and must have the necessary authorization. You authorize us to process it only to the extent necessary to transmit, display, store it or provide translation you select. Personal information processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
6.2 Sharing content does not give recipients unrestricted rights to use it. Recipients may use it only for ordinary communication, as authorized by the rights holder or as permitted by law, and must not publish it, exploit it commercially or infringe others’ rights without authorization.
6.3 Chat records and uploaded files currently have no automatic expiry and remain stored on the server, subject to lawful deletion, anonymization or required cessation of retention. Clearing local history, signing out or uninstalling the client does not itself erase server data. You may request handling of your data under the Privacy Policy.
6.4 Synchronization and server storage are not guarantees against loss or of perpetual availability or restoration, and do not replace your own backups of important content. We may be unable to directly erase copies independently saved by recipients; their use remains subject to law and the rights holder’s authorization.
7. Privacy and translation
7.1 We process personal information under the Yanovo Privacy Policy and applicable law. Reading terms, continuing to use the Service or granting device permissions does not replace separate or renewed consent where required. New purposes, third-party disclosures and cross-border processing are subject to applicable notice and authorization requirements.
7.2 When you request translation or enable automatic translation for a conversation, the relevant message text and source and target languages are sent through our server to MyMemory (Translated). Translations may be cached. See Section 3 of the Privacy Policy for third-party processing. Avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information or others’ confidential information for translation.
7.3 Machine translations can contain errors, omissions or changes of meaning and serve only as communication aids. Check the original text or obtain appropriate human confirmation for important matters.
8. Intellectual property
8.1 “Yanovo Content” means software, interface designs, branding, documentation and other protected material supplied by us or relevant rights holders, excluding user content and material lawfully owned by third parties. Rights belong to us or the relevant rights holder.
8.2 Except for ordinary use of the Service, permission granted or uses allowed by law, do not copy, sell or distribute Yanovo Content without authorization or infringe related rights. Open-source components and third-party materials are also governed by their respective licenses.
9. Violations and responsibility
9.1 Users are legally responsible for their unlawful conduct or breach. Account and content measures will be based on facts, applicable law and necessity and do not exclude lawful rights to appeal or seek remedies.
9.2 Responsibility for loss caused by a party’s fault is determined under applicable law. Where both parties are at fault, each bears the appropriate share. Compensation claims require a factual and legal basis; this Agreement does not automatically make users responsible for unrelated losses.
10. Availability and risks
10.1 Networks, devices, maintenance and other factors may affect message delivery, call quality and availability. We will take reasonable steps to operate, investigate faults and restore the Service, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10.2 Liability for force majeure or third-party events depends on their effects, each party’s fault and applicable law. An event’s category alone does not automatically release us from legal responsibility.
11. Limits of responsibility
11.1 Both parties should take reasonable steps to prevent loss from increasing. Use care with others’ content, external links and transaction requests, and report suspected fraud, infringement or security risks.
11.2 This Agreement does not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for personal injury or property loss caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Whether you paid for the Service, or paid no fee in a month, does not automatically release us from statutory liability.
12. Charges
12.1 Your network operator may charge for data, communications and international roaming. Check its rates.
12.2 If paid features are offered, we will explain prices, scope, duration and cancellation or refund terms before purchase or activation. You decide whether to buy. Continued use of existing free features does not itself activate a paid service.
13. Updates, disputes and contact
13.1 We may revise this Agreement for changes in features, law or operations and give reasonable notice of material changes through the website or client. Explicit consent will be obtained where required; personal information changes also follow the Privacy Policy.
13.2 This Agreement is governed by the laws of mainland China, without excluding mandatory consumer protections or other rules that cannot be waived. Parties may first seek an agreed resolution; unresolved disputes may be brought before a people’s court with lawful jurisdiction.
13.3 If the operator changes, we will notify you of the new operator, its contact details and effects on your rights and handle contractual and personal information matters as required by law. General authorization does not replace legally required notice or consent.
13.4 An unenforceable provision does not invalidate the remaining provisions. Not exercising a right immediately does not waive it.
13.5 Language versions are provided for readability. If interpretations differ, the Simplified Chinese version serves as the interpretive reference, without restricting rights granted by applicable law. Headings are for convenience.
